Bench method
Short answers to the questions that decide an order from a seller you have not met yet.
Pick the instrument, add it to the cart, then enter your name, wilaya, commune and phone number. A six-digit code arrives by SMS to confirm the number, and the order is recorded. There is no online payment: you pay the courier when the parcel is handed over.
No. A phone number is enough to order. An account is useful if you order often — a workshop restocking between two jobs: it keeps your orders and addresses, and for that it opens with the same number, no password.
Yes. Every product page has a WhatsApp button that opens a conversation with the instrument and quantity already filled in. We record the order with the same order number, the same confirmation call and the same delivery as an order placed on the site. Reply hours are on the contact page.
After every order we call to confirm the instrument, the address and the date you need it by. That call is what stops a parcel coming back. The calling number is in the confirmation SMS. Dispatch leaves the next working day after confirmation.
In cash, to the courier, when the parcel is handed to you. It is the only payment method: no online payment, no bank transfer, no CCP, no deposit. Nobody will ever ask you to pay before delivery — if someone does in our name, it is not us.
Yes. Prices are all-inclusive, in dinars, with no hidden fees. The total to prepare is shown in the cart, at checkout, in the SMS and on the tracking page: the price of the instruments plus delivery (400 DA in Algiers, 600 DA elsewhere, free from 7,500 DA). Every amount is a multiple of 50 DA — the courier does not give change below that, so prepare the exact amount.
Yes. You open the parcel in front of the courier and check the instrument — the reference, its condition, the contents — before paying. It is a setting we enable on every parcel with the carrier, not a favour from the courier. If it is not what you ordered, refuse the parcel: you pay nothing.
In front of the courier: refuse the parcel, without paying. It comes back to us and we call you to send the right instrument. After the courier has left: open a return request from the tracking page or your account within 7 days of delivery, with a photo. An instrument damaged on arrival is replaced or refunded in cash on collection, with no return cost to you.
400 DA in Algiers, 600 DA in the other 68 wilayas, and free from 7,500 DA. The amount shows as soon as you pick your wilaya, and the cart tells you what is missing for free delivery.
The parcel is handed to our delivery partner the next working day after the confirmation call, then takes 2 to 5 working days in transit depending on the wilaya — longer to the far south. Friday and Saturday do not count, nor do public holidays. The product page, the cart and the tracking page show concrete dates for your wilaya, not a number of days.
A courier from a partner delivery company, right to your door or your workshop. They call before coming and may introduce themselves under their own company's name: it is your Warchti order, not a stranger's parcel. Your reference is the order number (WRC-…) sent by SMS: give that one when you call us, and follow the parcel on the site's tracking page.
We deliver to the door in all 69 wilayas. A few communes are not served at home by the carrier: they appear greyed out in the commune selector at checkout, with the reason. There is no agency pickup — the parcel comes to your door or your workshop.
The courier calls before coming. If you cannot be reached, they try again the next working day and we send you an SMS with their number. After several unanswered attempts the parcel comes back to us. If you know the workshop will be closed, tell us on the confirmation call: we delay dispatch or change the address.
From the Dubai corridor, where we select them and bring them back on every trip. Every product page says what the instrument does and which protocols or ranges it works on. The provenance names only the corridor until a trip has confirmed the brand that actually ships — it is a buying instruction, not a brand promise.
Compare the spec sheet, not the photo: the protocol (OBD-II, ELM327), the measurement range, the type of clamp, the piece count. A Bluetooth dongle is enough to read a code day to day; a standalone scanner adds multi-brand reading without a phone and other control units. If you hesitate, call us: we tell you what the instrument does, without overselling what it does not.
Wipe it with a dry cloth after use, store it in its pouch or box, and above all check its batteries and tips from time to time. A multimeter showing a low battery gives false readings before it dies. Leads and tips are the first parts to change.
For a change of mind, 7 days from delivery: the instrument must be unused and complete, in its original packaging and box, and opened consumables (batteries, fuses, chips soldered or written) cannot be returned. A faulty item, or one that is not what you ordered, follows other, wider rules: see the question on the warranty.
Write to us from the contact page, with your order number, the instrument and the reason: within 7 days of delivery for a change of mind, and for as long as the warranty runs for a fault. We call you to arrange collection by our courier. There is nothing to post back yourself.
The way you paid: in cash. Depending on what you prefer, we send the right instrument in exchange (delivery on us), or we refund the price when the parcel is collected. The initial delivery fee is refunded only when the return is due to our mistake or to a faulty item, or one that is not what you ordered.
Yes. Any item that is faulty, or is not what you ordered, is taken back at our cost if you tell us shortly after delivery, and appliances, instruments and tools also carry the legal warranty, whose length is shown on each product’s page. The details are in our return policy.
Only people who have received their order can leave a review, from their account. Every review is read before it is published, to set aside what is off-topic or abusive, never to set aside criticism. Reviews appear on a product’s page once it has enough of them.
Because it is the only way to deliver to you: the courier calls before coming, we call to confirm, and the tracking SMS arrives on it. It is also your identifier if you open an account — there is no password. We only call and write about your orders.
A six-digit code, valid for a few minutes, that proves the number is yours before an order is recorded, your account opened, or a cancellation or return requested. It is never asked for a payment. If it does not arrive, wait for the countdown to end and request another; otherwise call us.
We keep your name, number, address and orders, to deliver and for accounting. They are neither sold nor passed on. The number goes through our SMS provider for order messages; site audience measurement happens only with your consent. You can delete your account from the account page, or ask us to. Retention periods and the details are on the privacy page.
Every petrol car registered in the EU from 2001, and every diesel from 2004, normally answers the OBD-II standard. But “compatible with the port” does not mean “compatible with every control unit”: the engine is almost always reachable, ABS, airbag or automatic gearbox not always. Tell us the year, the model and the module you are after when you order, and we will say what the instrument covers.
No. Our standalone scanner covers four systems — engine, ABS, airbag and transmission — and not the EPB: it does not wind back an electric caliper’s piston and does not clear an EPB fault. To change rear pads, a brake with its motor on the caliper is released with a 12 V control box. After reassembly, apply and release with the car’s own switch; on some models an EPB fault stays stored and has to be cleared with a scan tool that covers that system.
We buy OEM or a reference brand depending on the SKU, and each product page says which, or says plainly that the trip has not yet confirmed the origin. It is neither a selling point nor a secret: a reference instrument costs more and often holds calibration better, an OEM does the same job in most situations. Tell us the exact use and we will point you.
Call us or write to us on WhatsApp from the contact page: the number and hours are there. If your question is a technician’s — compatibility, range, operating — say so, and you will be put with someone who reads your question in full rather than a form.
